There are so many recipes spaced across the internet, I don’t know what to do with half of them. There are people who are trying to push products through recipes, promote healthy living, or even just to fatten you up.
What I don’t see anywhere is recipes for those with CFS or FM. Just because most (if not all) of us are exhausted, doesn’t mean that we have no interest in baking or cooking. Now, there’s also the option of having it gluten/dairy/egg/sugar free because some things affect each of us differently.
Then there’s looking at all the sugar substitutes and what we can and can’t have.
Now this baking stuff is just starting to seem like a hassle, right? WRONG!
You don’t need much, but what baking and cooking is heavy in is the tools. Instead of mixing that batter by hand, put it in a mixer. You don’t have to do multi-stage baking for it to be a great final product. One bowl cakes are super tasty and are much better than taking the time and effort to make a sponge cake.
I have many recipes already in my arsenal to share with you that can be made to fit your needs, the only thing is that this is a bit of a struggle. Please understand that these recipes give you the time to take a break if you need to and will let you know when you can do so.
If there is something that you want to make in particular, please let me know. You can leave a comment or just send me an email by filling out the contact form. I will start off with some basics just to get you into it, but then I’ll start addressing more difficult things – like multi-layer cakes and decorated cookies.
